Noise Ordinance
We live in a community with homes and people that are very close together. For this reason the Town of Buckeye has drafted a Noise Ordinance to serve as a standard regarding noise in our neighborhoods.
On page 37, noise generated by landscapers and golf course maintenance operations is addressed. The ordinance states:
- "Noise from landscape and golf course maintenance operations; construction activities; excavation of streets. Noise resulting from construction, erection, excavation, demolition, alteration or repair of any infrastructure, building, street or highway in any residential zoned area or district or that can be heard in any residential zoned area or district within the town shall take place only during that period of time which begins one hour prior to sunrise and ends at sunset, Monday through and including Saturday."
We realize that some homeowners are not always awake one hour prior to sunrise so we have made it a point to not start before sunrise. Generally our crew will start services around 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. in the Summer months and 7:00 a.m. or later in the Winter months.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding of the earlier start times in the Summer. When temperatures are reaching 120 degrees by 1:00 p.m. it is very dangerous for ourselves and our crew members to be working in the heat.
